La Thuile village and mountains

La Thuile is about 40 Km. from Aosta on the way to France through the Little St. Bernard Pass. Is the last village you come to, before reaching the Pass. La Thuile was born in a green valley, crossed the river Baltea, a natural cradle from which one can enjoy views of Glacier Rutor.

In 1985 is opened the international connection with the ski french station of La Rosière, called from 2003/2004 Espace San Bernardo, getting a qualitative leap in the station of La Thuile, making it one of the most famous and popular ski resorts in the european landscape.

With its 150 Km. of slopes, the suggestive dining huts and refuges and the many lifts (Funivie Piccolo San Bernardo Spa), La Thuile allows enthusiasts to take full advantage of the ski season from late November to end April.

The work in La Thuile focused for all in the two main seasons, winter and summer. Winter is the most important season, the holiday season on skis, when the ski area is opened thousands of skiers and snowboarders passing in La Thuile. In summer we can find a dedicated tourism summer holidays, in mountain for walking, riding mountain-bike, tennis and soccer lessons, surrounded by the greenery of the mountain.
